Aksure Solar SAS ("Aksure", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our services, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it. It follows Colombian law on the protection of personal data (Law 1581 of 2012, its regulating decrees and the rules that modify or complement them).

What data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

Identification and contact data: name, email, phone number, and the address or municipality of the property.
Information about your energy needs: monthly consumption, appliances, electricity bills, and photos or documents of the property that you choose to send us.
Account data: username, email and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), and the actions taken with your account.
Applications to work with us (installers or partners): the information you give in the sign-up form.
Technical data: language preference, browser and device type, IP address and security logs needed to keep the site working and protected.

We do not ask for sensitive data (such as health, ethnic origin, political views or biometric data). Please do not send it to us.

What we use it for

To prepare quotes, designs and proposals for solar energy systems, and to follow up on your request.
To contract, install, maintain and provide service for the systems and services you request.
To manage your account, answer your questions and send you notices related to your request.
To evaluate applications from installers and partners.
To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and improve how it works.
To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We will only send you commercial or promotional messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.

Your authorization

By submitting a form or using our services you authorize us to process your data for the purposes above. You can withdraw this authorization at any time, unless we must keep the data to meet a legal or contractual duty.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when needed for the purposes above, with:

Our team and installation partners who need it to prepare or carry out your project.
Financing partners, investors or contract buyers, when you ask for a financed or leased offer, and only as far as needed to evaluate and carry it out.
Service providers that help us operate (hosting, email delivery, document and communication tools), who must protect the data and use it only on our instructions.
Authorities, when the law or a valid order requires it.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside Colombia. When that happens we require appropriate protection and make the transfer in line with Colombian law.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes above and for the periods the law requires (for example for accounting, tax and contract obligations). After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, including encrypted passwords, access limited by role and secure connections. No system is completely free of risk, but we work to keep your data safe.

Your rights

As the owner of the data you have the right to:

Know, update and correct your data.
Ask for proof of the authorization you gave us.
Be told how your data has been used.
Submit complaints to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for breaches of the law.
Revoke your authorization and ask us to delete your data, when the law allows it.
Access your data free of charge.

How to use your rights

Write to info@aksuresolar.com with your name, a way to contact you and what you are asking for. We answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, as the law provides; if we need more time we will tell you why and when we will answer.

Cookies and third-party content

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, such as keeping your session and remembering your language. We do not use advertising cookies. The site loads fonts and some images from external services, which may receive your IP address when your browser requests them.

Minors

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced on the site.
